Hello and Welcome

Long ago I decided to create a blog solely about music, music I like and that fascinates me.  

Why is the blog called 'Sounds Good When You're Dead'?  Two reasons: I thought it sounded good; and, perhaps tongue in cheek, I thought that when you hear the music, you may think that's the only time when you'd ever want to hear it again.  It's also the title of a Robyn Hitchcock song.  I like Robyn Hitchcock's songs.  A lot.

What better way to start this blog than with the song in question from the album 'Gotta Let This Hen Out'.
